Located in Paris’s 16th arrondissement since the 1950s, Clinique Alphand occupies a distinctive place in the history of cosmetic surgery in the capital. As part of its complete refurbishment, the project seeks to support the clinic’s evolution while preserving the identity that has shaped its reputation.

The intervention is built around a balance between heritage and modernity. Characteristic elements of Haussmannian architecture are set in dialogue with a more contemporary language, while light tones and restrained materials extend the medical character of the space without resorting to the conventional codes of a clinic.

More than a renovation, the project fundamentally rethinks the way the building is approached and experienced. The creation of a new street-facing façade and a dedicated entrance gives the clinic renewed visibility and a presence that reflects its history.
