Omasake explores the encounter between two urban rhythms: the vibrant energy of Tokyo and the architectural rigour of Paris.

From the façade, a sequence of metal portals establishes this dialogue. Their repeated geometry evokes at once a passageway, a tunnel and an invitation to momentarily leave the city behind and step into a parallel world. Familiar in proportion yet unexpected in form and materiality, the project belongs to its context while deliberately setting itself apart.

Inside, metallic surfaces capture light and reflections, transforming the space as one moves through it. Perspectives multiply, materials echo one another and boundaries begin to shift. In contrast, textiles and subdued lighting introduce a sense of calm and softness.

Between architecture and illusion, Omasake creates an immersive experience in which familiar points of reference gradually dissolve. Conceived as a pause outside time, the space oscillates between the precision of the city and the almost dreamlike atmosphere of a journey.
