Sushi Yoshinaga was born from the encounter between two architectural cultures: Japanese temples and the porticoes that rhythm the streets of Paris.

A sequence of thresholds and frames guides the eye towards the heart of the restaurant, where the chef becomes the focal point of the space. Like a stage, every gesture, every preparation and every plate is revealed by a soft, even light that dissolves shadows and creates an almost suspended sense of time.

The project is built around a deliberately restrained palette — wood, textile and travertine — and a play of transparency inspired by Japanese shoji screens. Between presence and lightness, material and light, the restaurant creates a calm, immersive atmosphere in which the architecture gradually recedes, allowing the dining experience to take centre stage.
